Multi-Purpose Rooms (MPRs) at Six of our Elementary Schools have been closed for over six years.
Schools affected include: Fremont Elementary School Frank Paul Elementary School Virginia Rocca Barton Elementary School Alisal Community School Jesse G. Sanchez Elementary School Bardin Elementary School District broke ground on October 19, 2009, on a project to repair the MPRs at all six schools. Much of the work will be done concurrently. The priority is to repair the MPRs at the four sites that currently have no functioning MPR first. Thus, work will begin at the following schools before Thankgiving, 2009 (and end during the summer of 2010): Fremont Elementary School Frank Paul Elementary School Virginia Rocca Barton Elementary School Alisal Community School When additional funding is received from the State (expected in March or April of 2010) the following MPR Repair Projects will proceed: Jesse G. Sanchez Elementary School Bardin Elementary School |
